Travel can complicate healthcare. We support UK residents and visitors with travel medicine advice, pre-travel planning, medication optimisation, and clinical support while travelling.
This can include reviewing long-term conditions before travel, ensuring you have a safe medication plan, advising on what to do if symptoms worsen abroad, and helping you interpret tests obtained overseas where appropriate.
Unlike many providers, our professional indemnity cover allows us to provide remote GP advice to UK residents while they are abroad. This means we can follow you up and offer further guidance during your travels where appropriate.
If you are travelling for Hajj or Umrah, see our dedicated page: Hajj-Umrah
These are focused appointment bundles for people travelling for work, holidays, study, visiting family, or other travel where health planning matters.
Packages are delivered online by default. In-clinic delivery can be arranged by request where you would prefer an in-person assessment, or where examination or measurements may improve the quality and safety of care.
If you have multiple unrelated concerns to discuss, book a GP appointment instead.
Where appropriate, we can advise on travel vaccine planning and malaria prevention and help you access private travel vaccinations through partners. Requirements and recommendations vary by destination and may change.
If clinically helpful, we can arrange blood tests as part of your travel planning. You can also bring recent results or request up-to-date tests through your usual GP or another provider, and we can review these in a consultation.
Where clinically indicated and legally feasible, we can issue private prescriptions. The cost of medicines is separate and is set by the dispensing pharmacy.
Where helpful, we can provide a cover letter stating relevant facts for the attention of a local pharmacist or doctor. Recognition of this paperwork varies by country and may change without notice, and we cannot guarantee acceptance overseas as this is subject to local laws, regulations, and clinical practice.
If a travel letter is clinically appropriate, this is a simple admin document (£25) booked alongside an appointment.
If you would like a patient-tailored summary of your consultation and plan that you can keep and share, you can request a Consultation Summary Letter (£40).
Please check locally whilst overseas to confirm what is possible.
This service does not replace travel insurance. You should ensure your insurance is suitable for your needs, including emergency care, repatriation, treatment costs, and declaration of pre-existing conditions.
